EDUCATION

On education PWHE believes that with opportunity towards quality education for the pastoralist children, they can excel and compete among the larger community of Kenyan society.

PWHE has trained over 60 out of school boys and girls and single mothers on behaviour change communication with support received from AMREF Manisha in 2011.

GOVERNANCE

Towards the end of 2013 PWHE was supported by ActionAid with one of support on gender based violence on issues of female genital mutilation and radio session covering among others issues on poor performance in school, health issues and concerns and drug abuse among the youth in Isiolo County.

PEACE BUILDING AND COHESSION

The organization implemented over ten peace dialogue meeting for the warring pastoralist communities of Isiolo County in 2012-2013 with collaboration of Provincial administration and District Peace Committee. The effort has gained relative peace in Isiolo to date.
